Another Wreath!

I made this wreath for my principal who is retiring at the end of the month.  I tried to make it in the school colors (navy & yellow), but I ran out of yellow ribbon/fabric!

More Fabric Flowers

I found some templates to make more flowers.  I think I like these more, but I keep burning myself with the hot glue gun!

Fabric Flowers!

So I've been reading up and studying how to make fabric flowers for my mother-in-law because I wanted to make her a wreath for Mother's Day. After scouring the interwebs, I finally came up with something. I followed the easy tutorial, and an hour later (not her fault but my inability to be crafty), I had pretty button flowers.  I sort of threw together the tulle one.  I kind of mushed it together and hot glued the thing.  PS - Hot glue burns like you would not believe..especially under your nail!  My lovely husband wrapped the wreath with turquoise yarn, then I wrapped it with some white ribbon.  Here is the finished product!  Not gonna lie, I'm really proud of myself!

Valentine's Day!

I saw this on Pinterest and knew I had to try it out!  I got a tissue box, painted it, and added egg carton pieces to the top.  I found some googly eyes to stick on it, cut some teeth from white construction paper, and voila, a Valentine Monster Box!
